    Taking a trip to Cedar Point? Here's what needs to stay at home or in the car

    Looking to get the most out of your visit to Cedar Point? Then the park advises against trying to bring certain things inside, which could force them to cut short your trip.

    Here's a look at what should stay at home or in the car at Cedar Point.

    What you can't bring into Cedar Point

    According to the park's code of conduct, guests are prohibited from:

    • Carrying firearms, ammunition, knives or weapons of any kind.
    • Wearing clothing with offensive language, obscene gestures or graphics, or nudity, as well as clothing that does not sufficiently cover undergarments. The park dress code also prohibits "pictures of illegal substances, motorcycle colors, insignias of paramilitary groups, all gang related items or clothing, costumes or disguises that conceal identity and adult full-face makeup."
    • Smoking or vaping within the park.

    According to the park's FAQ, you can't bring any outside food or beverages into the park. Exceptions are made for special dietary needs, including food allergies as well as baby food and formula.

    Once you're inside Cedar Point, behave yourself

    Once you're at Cedar Point, the park's code of conduct warns against:

    • Unruly or disruptive behavior that interferes with other guests’ enjoyment of the park.
    • Fighting or physical aggression, including verbal and physical assaults.
    • Harassing/threatening behavior, sexual misconduct or lewd behavior.
    • Offensive language or gestures.
    • Intoxication or substance impairment.
    • Entering restricted areas.
    • Theft of any kind.
    • Selling park tickets or soliciting and distributing literature not sponsored by the park.
    • Refusing to follow verbal or printed instructions or cooperate with park personnel or security.
