Garry Lee Pratte

December 7, 1942 to June 11, 2024. - Garry L. Pratte, 81, of Sandy, Oregon passed away at 9:21 p.m., PST., on June 11, 2024. He was born December 7, 1942 in Los Angeles California to Garland and June (Orrill) Pratte.

Garry was a Navy Veteran, serving on submarines. One of which is The USS BLUEBACK. Now moored in Portland, Oregon as an exhibit.

Garry had many friends and was well known in the Sandy community. Garry and his friends would meet at the Sandy Starbucks, which was one of his favorite places to go. He also loved his Kuvasz dogs, Maggie and later Misty.

Garry was preceded in death by his brother, Bernie, and both parents, and a stepdaughter Debra Hoffhaus. Garry is survived by his children Dennis Pratte, Cindy Schreiner, Michelle Pratte, and Dawn Denk. His sister, Marilyn (Bill) Abbott; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
