Some big news this morning for denizens of the downtown Leesburg coffeehouse scene. The longtime shop King Street Coffee is moving out and a new coffee shop is on its way in. The owner of King Street Coffee — which opened back around 2010 at 110 South King Street — posted the news on social media.

Prince George’s County Woman Charged With Multiple Counts Of Insurance Fraud
– Attorney General Anthony G. Brown announced that the Grand Jury for Prince George’s County has handed down two indictments charging Rhonda Keisha Powell, also known as Rhonda Keisha Jackson, 38, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland with two counts of felony insurance fraud, one count of theft of property with a value of at least $25,000, and one count of attempted theft of property valued at $100,000 or more.
26-year-old woman dies after being struck in Great Falls
A 26-year-old pedestrian died July 20 after she was struck by a vehicle in Great Falls, Fairfax County police said. County police around 3:43 a.m. dispatched officers to Leesburg Pike and Downey Drive in Great Falls after receiving a report of a struck pedestrian. The vehicle’s driver initially left the scene, but returned shortly after, police said.
