The former Huey Luey’s Mexican restaurant space on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs will become a mini food hall with table service at the end of July. It also includes a full bar and three patios.

Called SocialBites, expect four fast food restaurants serving everything from hot chicken to tacos across two levels. Look for weekly events like trivia, bingo, live music, and televised sports, along with social games such as a giant Connect4 and cornhole.

People can order food from individual restaurants, including The Original Hot Chicken, INKed Tacos, Flametown Burgers, and Pinsa Roman Pizza, or multiple restaurants via a contactless kiosk. Upon ordering, people get a number and find a seat. Food is then delivered to the table.

SocialBites will offer a “shareables” menu for groups wanting to order family-style dishes and appetizers, such as nachos, hot chicken cauliflower bites, queso fries, and onion rings. There’s banana pudding and milkshakes for dessert.

BarSocial upstairs serves cocktails, boozy milkshakes, beer, and wine.

In addition to seating on the main level, the upstairs level also includes lounge seating in the bar. Two patios on the main level feature Adirondack-style chairs and a cornhole board. The bar upstairs opens onto another patio.

Unlike a typical food hall with individually owned stalls, Experiential Brands and SocialBites founder Aziz Hashim sees his company’s food hall variation and its restaurant stalls as easily franchised. SocialBites indeed carries similarities to other food hall operations in Atlanta, including Citizens Market at Phipps Plaza in Buckhead and Politan Row in Midtown and Dunwoody.
