A Clean-Up Day is planned for rural Covington County ADSI customres on Saturday, July 20.

Items accepted for the clean-up day is limited, but customers can bring acceptable items to Sanford City Hall, 21469 Firehouse Rd., from 9 a.m. to noon. Again, this service is for rural county ADSI customers only.

Those participating will be asked to produce a driver’s license showing an address in Covington County and a copy of a ADSI bill.

No contractor debris will be accepted. Other items not accepted include: hazardous or toxic waste, batteries, paints, appliances, tires, tree limbs longer than 4 feet or 6 inches in diameter, and no vehicles.

Those participating must be able to load all items directly into the ADSI truck. Items that are too heavy to be loaded manually will not be accepted.

Upon arrival, follow the instructions given by the operators. Patrons will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.

There will be no standing or loitering at the site and no salvaging of materials will be allowed.

There may be more restrictions and limitations. For more information about the materials accepted, visit the Covington County website.
