    Sanford Council signs onto Kroger opioid settlement

    Sanford Council unanimously voted on Tuesday to approve a settlement with Kroger Pharmacy for the second phase of a national opioid settlement.

    However, City Attorney Susan Patterson noted that any funding that the city would get will go to Lee County since Sanford has less than 30,000 residents.
