UNM Track Programs Named USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams: 9 Lobos Earn Individual Honors
NEW ORLEANS, La. – Six New Mexico women and three men were named All-Academic athletes, and both programs received academic team recognition from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Thursday. San Juan College to feature ‘One Navajo’ exhibit
“One Navajo” artwork by Ed Singer will be exhibited at the San Juan College Henderson Fine Arts Center Art Gallery from Aug. 2 to 30, according to a news release. The exhibit will include paintings, pastels, and drawings from the 1970s to today, blending Old Master techniques with Native-driven subjects.

The Street Slayerz Car Club will host a benefit raffle, starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 19, in the Farmington Fun Center parking lot at 6520 E. Main St. There is a $5 car cruise entry fee, and all makes and models are encouraged to participate. The raffle tickets will start at $10 per raffle ticket, or two tickets for $18 or three tickets for $25. All proceeds raised from the event will benefit fallen peace officer Bill Hooser's family. FARMINGTON – Sandlot Tulsa, coming off a championship game victory Sunday in the AABC Oklahoma Qualifiying Tournament, are headed back to the Connie Mack World Series. Last year under head coach Gunner Glad, the team made their CMWS debut and left quite an impression, beating the Midland (Ohio) Redskins 2-1 in bracket play before eventually being eliminated by the Colton (California) Nighthawks.
