Locale Studio On Main Hosts First Children’s Business Fair

Locale Studio on Main hosted its first annual Children’s Business Fair in Newhall on Saturday to give back to the community and help young entrepreneurs.

On Saturday, Locale Studio on Main featured young entrepreneurs by having a children’s business fair where kids get to become an entrepreneur for a day and sell the items they created.

“We’re really trying to give them a voice as young entrepreneurs,” said Dyana Gutierrez, owner of Locale Studios on Main in Old Town Newhall.

Several young entrepreneurs were there to show off their businesses and skills including Mini’s Munchies; Snacks & Treats.

Mini Munchies is a mobile snack cart that caters events such as birthday parties, pop up events or any other type of event.

Jada Jones, owner of the mobile snack cart, began developing the idea of Mini’s Munchies back in April when she was craving mini pancakes and decided to make them herself.

“This will probably be a side hustle for me because I’m not entirely sure what I want to do when I’m older yet but I do actually really love this and it’s fun for me,” said Jones.

Another young entrepreneur at the event was Brooklyn’s Blessings , a local Santa Clarita 10-year-old girl who makes and sells bracelets and generously donates a percent  to Children’s Hospital L.A.

“It’s been so amazing to see these kids come out and show their business. I’m just overall really really excited for them,” said Gutierrez.

Locale Studio offers art classes, workshops and is also a boutique venue who rents out their space for private events, birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, any type of celebration accommodating up to 40 guests and the studio also plans on doing a murder mystery dinner in October.

Locale Studio’s is set to offer two more Youth Business Fair’s later this year scheduled to happen on Sunday, Sept. 22 and Sunday, Dec. 8.
