In the 63rd part of the series , we will explore the Valley Relics Museum in Van Nuys .

The Valley Relics Museum is unlike any other pop culture museum thanks to its unique collection of artifacts, antique cars, rare documents, yearbooks, paintings, western wear, vintage BMX bikes and an entirely free playable arcade.

If the museum itself wasn’t cool enough, its location inside a repurposed flight hanger right outside the Van Nuys Airport should be.

Upon entry, guests are welcomed by the Valley Relics gift shop, which pays homage to the San Fernando Valley and its history.

Once inside the museum, it feels like a blast from the past as visitors see vintage items that played a big part in the history of the San Fernando Valley and the surrounding areas.

Among their wall of neon signs are Pioneer Chicken, the Palomino, Ben Franks and many more.

In the center of the hanger, there are a slew of vintage cars, like the Volkswagen owned by Sean Penn’s character from “Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” Jeff Spicoli.

Throughout the museum, there are artifacts from restaurant chains that are synonymous with Los Angeles, like Bob’s Big Boy, Fat Burger and Jack from Jack in the Box, which features one of the original Jack’s heads.

Those in love who want to tie the knot at a unique venue can have their wedding at the Valley Relics Museum. For those not getting married or already married, the museum can also host parties and corporate events.
