Multiple juveniles and adults were arrested in Canyon Country Monday after they allegedly were trespassing at a pool and were in possession of “laughing gas, a stolen vehicle and a firearm.”

Monday night, deputies with the Special Assignment Team (SAT) responded with patrol deputies to a large group of individuals who were creating a disturbance at a pool near Bentwood Lane and Five Knolls Drive in Canyon Country, said Deputy Robert Jensen, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station in a Facebook post.

“Deputies arrived and contacted a security guard, who stated that the property owner was desirous of prosecution for trespassing ,” Jensen said. “Deputies continued their investigation and discovered a car associated with their group was possibly stolen, which ultimately yielded a loaded firearm and two flavored nitrous oxide tanks within the vehicle.”

Several suspects and juvenile subjects were detained, according to Sheriff’s officials.

The group was booked on several charges ranging from contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of a loaded firearm and possession of nitrous oxide.

“All parties were arrested and transported to SCV Sheriff’s Station, where they will appear in court at a later date,” Jensen said.
