The Senses Block Party Kicks Off The Summer Olympics With ‘The Senses Games”

With the summer Olympics around the corner, Santa Clarita residents headed to the Senses Block Party to ring in the games.

The Senses Block Party is perfect for a family outing or date night. The best part is that admission is completely free.

At the block party, guests were welcomed with music from Heartbreak Over Petty and a slew of games, including a rock wall, giant darts, a mechanical skateboard and a game from the Cube to test your hockey skills.

The Senses Block party is held every third Thursday of the month on Main Street in Newhall from 7 to 10 p.m. Everyone is invited to have fun in the sun, as the U.S. Olympic team will be doing in Paris, so if there is still time left, put on your running shoes and race down to Main Street.

For anyone who missed this block party, don’t worry because there is more to come.

• Pirates – September 19
• Pumpkin Palooza – October 17
