Southbound 14 Freeway Temporarily Closed Due To Santa Clarita Rollover Crash

The southbound 14 Freeway was partially blocked on Friday morning in Santa Clarita due to a rollover crash.

About 10:16 a.m. Friday, emergency responders received reports of an expanded traffic collision on the southbound 14 Freeway just north of Placerita Canyon Road in Santa Clarita, according to Luis Garcia, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“It came in as a multi-vehicle traffic collision with entrapment and patient extracted,” Garcia said.

One person was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries, according to Garcia.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) incident logs report that a blue Audi overturned on the right shoulder of the 14 Freeway, partially blocking lanes.

Emergency responders partially blocked several lanes of the southbound 14 Freeway for the duration of the incident.
