Man arrested after slow-speed chase, Aptos standoff
APTOS — Authorities have arrested a 36-year-old man who led law enforcement agencies on slow-speed pursuit and vehicle standoff earlier this week. The California Highway Patrol initially responded to a report of a man in a Ford F-150 pickup making verbal threats shortly before 12:30 p.m. Monday at a location behind the agency’s Soquel Drive office. According to emergency radio traffic, the man, later identified as Kyle Roswall, was known to CHP officers and previously had been verbally warned to stay away from the location. Roswall had guns registered to his name, causing officers to issue an officer safety warning, according to officers involved in the chase. The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office took over as the lead agency during the fail-to-yield pursuit, according to CHP Officer Israel Murillo.

APTOS, CALIF. (KION-TV)- The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office released more information regarding an incident in Aptos on Monday. According to officials, The California Highway Patrol was involved in a failure-to-yield incident with a vehicle. During that time, the sheriff's office was requested to investigate a crime that happened prior to the pursuit. The suspect eventually came to a stop near Clubhouse Drive and St Andrews Drive.
