Bike traffic infraction leads to over 14 grams of meth, ghost guns found

( KRON ) – A bike rider who committed a traffic infraction has been arrested on multiple gun charges, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.

At 10:15 p.m. on Friday, Santa Rosa Special Enforcement Team PD officers noticed a person riding a bike committing a traffic infraction in the 2000 block of Cleveland Avenue.

The driver was identified as 40-year-old Santa Rosa resident Duston Voorhes. According to Santa Rosa PD, the officers located a concealed knife, metal knuckles and a metal knuckle/knife combination in a pat search. All of the weapons are illegal to possess, according to Santa Rosa PD.

The officers subsequently conducted a search, where they located a loaded and concealed 9-mm Poly-80 "ghost gun" with six 9mm rounds loaded into an affixed magazine and a loaded and concealed 9-mm Poly-80 "ghost gun" which had six 9mm rounds loaded into an affixed magazine.

Santa Rosa PD said Voorhes had 14.25 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a scale and packaging consistent with narcotics sales.

Voorhes was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility on multiple charges:

• Felon prohibited from firearm possession.
• Felon prohibited from ammunition possession.
• Possession of a loaded, unregistered firearm.
• Carry a concealed firearm.
• Concealed dirk/dagger
• Possession of metal knuckles
• Possession of firearm and narcotics
• Possession of narcotics for sale
• Transport of narcotics for sale
• Possession of narcotic paraphernalia
