A California man pulled over for driving without his headlights was found wearing a terrifying “Friday the 13th”-style mask — and hiding an illegal AR-15-style rifle in the back of his car, according to cops.

Adonay Efriem, 27, was pulled over in his gold Toyota Camry late Saturday for the seemingly minor infraction, Santa Rosa Police said.

He “was wearing a ‘Jason’-style face mask” — and “was sweating profusely and appeared to be nervous,” officers noted.

An officer then “noted an AR-15-style rifle partially concealed by a blanket in the back seat,” the department said.

Police shared a photo of the weapon — an Eagle Arms Eagle-15 5.56mm semi-automatic rifle — alongside the mask, which was famously worn by Jason Voorhees, the main character in the “Friday the 13th” slasher movie franchise.

Although it was unloaded, the firearm “was an unregistered assault weapon which was not legal to possess,” police stressed.
