Singer and blues guitarist Elvin Bishop, who was scheduled to make a duo appearance Saturday night at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa with harmonica virtuoso Charlie Musselwhite, has canceled due to illness, the center announced.

Musselwhite will play the show at 7 p.m. as planned, opening for the headliner, the Taj Mahal Quintet.

Although both Musselwhite and Bishop each have their bands, they also have recorded and performed with each other for decades.

Santa Rosa’s Luther Burbank Center is at 50 West Mark Springs Road. Admission costs $76.70 to $100.30. For information, visit lutherburbankcenter.org, or call 707-546-3600.
