Detectives responded to a residence associated with Romer in the 400 block of El Portal Way for a search warrant. According to Santa Rosa PD, the search yielded approximately three ounces of suspected cocaine, clean packaging materials and a digital scale in a bag on the floor of the kitchen.

Police said the bag that was located was "unsecured and easily accessible" to Romero's 6-year-old child. The child was not in the home at the time of the search, according to police.

Romero was booked into the Sonoma County Jail for suspicion of possession of a narcotic for sale and child endangerment. His bail was set at half a million dollars.
