Santa Rosa motorcyclist injured in Fountaingrove crash

A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries Friday morning after crashing on Fountaingrove Parkway in Santa Rosa, police said.

The crash, which involved no other vehicles, was reported about 6:20 a.m. at Parker Hill Road, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.

An early investigation determined the motorcyclist was heading west on Fountaingrove and “may have been driving erratically,” police said.

He lost control of the vehicle before it hit a curb, “flipped multiple times” and came to a stop on the north side of the road near the sidewalk, police said.

An exact speed had not been identified.

Paramedics took the unresponsive motorcyclist to a local hospital for treatment.
