Coroner identifies victim of Lexington County fatal stabbing
LEXINGTON, S.C. — Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the body of a 38-year-old man who was the victim of a stabbing incident on July 20. Caldwell Melton Motley, of Lexington, was pronounced dead at the scene. Motley was found with multiple stab wounds to his body inside his burning home in the 200 block of Oak Ridge Lane in Lexington. A second man was found in a shed on he property. That person was transported to a local trauma center with critical injuries.
