Suspect In 2015 Double Murder At Cheyenne Coin Shop Back In Wyoming
The man accused of killing two people in 2015 at The Coin Shop in downtown Cheyenne is back in Wyoming. Douglas Mark Smith, 68, was arrested last week in his home in California for allegedly shooting two people at the shop, then leading investigators in the wrong direction immediately afterward.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit likely to open at former Casper downtown Village Inn
CASPER, Wyo. — The shuttered downtown Casper Village Inn at 325 S. Durbin St. is poised to become the first Dickey’s Barbecue Pit location in Casper. The building was purchased by Travis Brown of Cheyenne, who operates the Eat Sleep BBQ LLC based at 1400 Dell Range Blvd. in Cheyenne, according to records at the Secretary of State’s office. The same Frontier Mall location is also a Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. The building is being purchased under Food Rush LLC, according to City of Casper records.

Casper hires new custodial firm for $1M to clean city buildings for 5 years
CASPER, Wyo. — The City of Casper has hired a new custodial business to clean 13 buildings at six locations for the next five years at a cost of about $200,000 a year.
