DCB legion baseball aiming for another state title run under new coach
BOELUS, Neb. (KSNB) - Dannebrog-Cairo-Boelus, or DCB for short, is last year’s Class C legion baseball state runner-up. The squad has several new faces, as well as a new coach, Scott Fries, who led the juniors the past few seasons. He takes over for Joe Noakes, who led the team to the last four state championship games, winning two titles.

Huskers add top player from North Dakota to 2025 recruiting class
Lincoln, NEB — Husker Football added another player to its 2025 recruiting class in defensive lineman Kade Piertzak (Fargo, North Dakota) after announcing his commitment to Nebraska. Piertzak is the top ranked high school football player in North Dakota and is now the third defensive lineman as part of the Huskers '25 recruiting class. The team now has 16 total commitments from players in the class, including fellow defensive lineman Malcolm Simpson (Galveston, Texas) and Tyson Terry (Omaha North).
