Culver's food ranks high in survey of best fast food restaurants

Culver's is a top-10 fast food restaurant, according to a number of categories in USA TODAY's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards.

USA TODAY 10Best editors and a panel of fast food aficionados chose their top picks across 10 categories for fast food and quick-service restaurants. Then, readers voted for their favorites.

The Sauk City-based Culver's proved to be the favorite of people across the nation as its double cheese ButterBurger was voted the nation's seventh-best fast food burger and its Wisconsin cheese curds were voted the fourth-best fast food side.

And, as a whole, Culver's came in at No. 7 on the list of best fast casual restaurants.

The 10Best article said about Culver's: "It's hard to say no to a crispy-edged ButterBurger at this Midwestern stalwart that's now expanding south, west and east. Throw in Wisconsin staples like gooey cheese curds and fresh frozen custard, and you've got yummy from start to finish."
