Wisconsin patients are still suffering effects of Ozempic shortage, pharmacists say
Patients at a Milwaukee pharmacy are feeling the shortage of Ozempic and other medications used to treat type 2 diabetes. These medications — known as GLP-1 drugs — have been in short supply since 2022. Manufacturer Novo Nordisk advised that the shortage will last until at least the end of the year.
