Sault celebrates Fourth of July

SAULT STE. MARIE — The City of Sault Ste. Marie showed its patriotism and spirit last week with a massive Fourth of July parade and fireworks display.

The parade participants were competing for the best and most patriotic displays, with the winners of the judged contest going home with a $300 prize.

Bay Human Services won best float while Sault Poms took home best walking group. The best overall was won by Merle Towing.
