    Enjoy family movies on Friday nights at city hall

    SAULT STE. MARIE — Family Movie Night is returning each Friday at dusk at the Sault Ste. Marie City Hall lawn.

    Beginning July 12, free family-friendly movies will be shown. The movie series is a partnership between Downtown Sault Ste. Marie and Nicolet Bank.

    Guests should bring their own blankets, lawn chairs and snacks for the movies.

    The 2024 lineup includes:

    • July 26: “The Goonies”
    • Aug. 9: “Elemental”
    • Aug. 23: “Barbie”
    • Sept. 6: “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”
    • Oct. 25: “Hocus Pocus”
