Golf Set for Alex Lagowitz Memorial
Colgate Golf kicks off its 2024-25 season by hosting the Alex Lagowitz Memorial this weekend at Seven Oaks Golf Club. The event features over 100 golfers from 14 teams competing in a 54-hole tournament, with 36 holes played on Saturday and 18 on Sunday. Head coach JP Kircher is optimistic about the team's performance, especially with a mix of returning players and new recruits. HAMILTON — Fred '50 and Marilyn Dunlap Head Football Coach Stan Dakosty announced on Tuesday that his father, Stan Dakosty, Sr. will be joining the 2024 coaching staff in a Senior Analyst role. Dakosty Sr. stepped down from his position as Head Coach at Marian Catholic High School in 2023 where he served for 43 seasons. He retired as the 12th winningest head coach in Pennsylvania high school football history.

HAMILTON — Chris Nell has been hired as the new goaltending coach and director of hockey operations for the Colgate University men’s hockey program. “Chris has rapidly ascended through the goalie coaching ranks, and we are so excited to have him join our staff,” said head coach Mike Harder. “His ability to teach the position, think through the game, and push our student-athletes to get better every day will be an enormous asset to our Colgate Hockey community. His passion is both evident and contagious.”
