An exhilarating ride to Charlotte Museum!!

The Charlotte Museum of History is a history museum located on Shamrock drive.

Originally founded to be the steward of the 1774 Alexander Rock House, the museum has since expanded its scope to cover all periods of Charlotte's history with exhibits covering everything from the history of music in the city to the experiences of soldiers from Charlotte during the 1st World War.

The inside of the museum is beautiful, well-lit, and open.

There are beautiful paintings in the "Charlotte's Road to Revolution" exhibit by local artist Dan Nance and a little photography exhibit by photographer Daniel Coston.

Their guide was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. The grounds were beautiful and, the tour was very informational. It was amazing to discover the way people used to live in the 18th century. The house was beautiful and comfortable.
