Committee opens 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade application

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The Observance Day Association, Inc., Parade Committee has released its application for the 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade.

The parade is held annually on the date of the icon’s birth and spotlights King’s ideals through a celebration of civil rights history and view for the future.

The committee has included a cost page and guidelines for representation in the parade, including a limit of two units per organization. The cost for a second unit is half the cost of the first.

Applications will be accepted from July 1 to Nov. 30. Late applications will be accepted from Dec. 1 to Dec. 15.
