SPD investigates a domestic homicide on Adel Street

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Savannah Police Detectives (SPD) are investigating a domestic homicide that happed on the 900 block of Adel Street.

Officials say on Saturday around 11 p.m., officers discovered a female juvenile deceased on the scene.

According to SPD, 43-year-old Maurice Pollock was also found, suffering from a serious gunshot wound.

Pollock was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center and treated for his injury. The department says he is currently in critical condition.

SPD says during the investigation, Pollock was identified as the suspect in the death of the juvenile.

An arrest warrant for the charge of murder was obtained and served.
