Georgia has tens of thousands of restaurants across the state. No matter where you live, it may be hard to pick a favorite with so many options. Yelp took some of that burden off your plate.

The popular review site recently released its list of the "Best Restaurants in Georgia." Yelp's rankings are often based on multiple factors such as ratings, number of reviews, and volume of submissions. The full list is available at yelp.com/best/restaurants/georgia .

While none in the Savannah area took the crown, about one-third of the extensive list came from around Savannah Here's a closer look at them and why they are so loved:

Savannah's Best Restaurant on Yelp's Top 100 in Georgia

Himalayan Curry Kitchen ranked No. 7. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "While traveling to Florida, we stayed in Savannah and decided to have some Indian food. It was a little difficult to find in the dark while looking through dozens of restaurants in the continuous attached shopping centers, but we found it in a corner! The waiter and staff were very attentive and quick. I had a yummy lamb dish and my friend had butter chicken, both were plentiful, hot & delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant!"

Spirit Halloween: Spooky season starting early with Spirit Halloween in Savannah. Here's when it will open

Mate Factor ranked No. 8. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "I found this place quite exquisite. The ambiance is one in a thousand. Also the owners are a cute couple running the restaurant with love and care. I found that they served very sweet coffee but it was very flavorful too. She made sure to deliver us the drinks on time. It is a must try for people trying to work remotely from cafes. Highly recommend in Savannah!"

Cotton & Rye ranked No. 14. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "Cotton and Rye had a delicious menu offering. We loved everything we tasted. We also spoke to the tables next to us asking what they ordered because everything on their plates also looked delicious. The service was great. The cocktails were tasty! The bathrooms were nice and clean."

Mrs. Wilkes's Dining Room ranked No. 17. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "Mrs. Wilkes's Dining Room is a great experience if you're in Savannah. The food is really a great reflection of Southern cooking, and I should know because I was raised on this type of food. The food is served family style, so depending on your party size, you may be sharing your meal with strangers. Honestly, it's actually a fun way to meet new people."

Sly’s Sliders and Fries ranked No. 19. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "We visited Sly's a few nights ago for the first time. My friend raved about the French fries and I was a bit skeptical, but honestly they were amazing! I will go back just for the fries! The burgers were good too They use real hamburger for the sliders which is a nice change from the norm. The atmosphere is unique and I like that they feature artists work on the wall that can be purchased. Everyone was very nice and there was a 20-ish minute wait, but it was a Saturday night."

Zunzi’s ranked No. 22. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "After walking past this place 100s of times, we decided to give a try for happy hour, 26% off bar bites and drinks put a smile on my face no doubt. The falafel bites were cooked to order and combine that with delicious ziki sauce you'll leave happy. My wife went with a margarita and it was strong - maybe a double? Funky spot with cool vibes and great service - We will be back."

Collins Quarter ranked No. 28 (Bull St. location). Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "I ordered the Bubble and Squeak, since it was one of the most creative dishes and came recommended by my ghost tour guide last night. A large panko crusted potato cake sits on a bed of creamed corn, then topped with a slice of Portobello mushroom, tomato puree, and a poached egg. I asked my server, Jessica, if she had recommendations to enhance by dish, and she suggested grilled shrimp. I enjoyed my dish and the shrimp very much, and I was happy to enjoy patio seating on a perfect weather morning!"

Salt Island Fish & Beer ranked No. 31. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "This place was absolutely awesome! The fish burger was seasoned and juicy. The fish was fresh and the fries were good too. It has a cool laid back atmosphere that is close to the ocean. I would highly recommend Salt Island Fish & Beer."

New businesses: Wawa coming to Georgia with six locations open by 2025. Here's what to know

Chive Sea Bar & Lounge ranked No. 32. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "The food was really good. We had a couple of appetizers. The ceviche tower was excellent, and the charcuterie board was really good. For the meal we shared a shrimp dish which was also good. The decor and seating arrangement was unique. There is a center bar area with lots of bar seats around it when you first walk in. There are tables in the middle, and the booths on the side are essentially couches separated with curtains so each booth has privacy, which was really nice. If we visit Savannah again, we would definitely return."

Sundae Cafe ranked No. 36. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "Food is amazing! Service is spot on. High class dining with a hometown atmosphere. Banana pudding cheesecake is the best ever!"

Little Crown by Pie Society ranked No. 40. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "Food was wonderful! Not to be missed when visiting Savannah. The server was very friendly and helpful."

Elizabeth on 37th ranked No. 43. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "By far my favorite restaurant in the whole wide world. Impeccable service from professional, career level dining and delivery. The quality, quaint and elegant dining is a diamond. There is nothing that is not delicious. P.S. Best restroom. I'd take a nap there."

Crystal Beer Parlor ranked No. 47. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "Great service, great food, great ambiance! You get it all here. The pretzels are awesome to start. We had lamb and steak done well. It was all delicious. Just a great place to come back!"

NaaN on Broughton ranked No. 48. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "The food was amazing. I am gluten free and dairy free and they were very helpful in assisting me to find safe menu options. I ended up getting the house curry and it was so good. I am not one to typically rave over food but I could not stop talking about how fantastic this food was. My husband had the lamb chops with cashew sauce and he said it was also fabulous. Everything was so fragrant and flavorful-just go!"

Collins Quarter ranked No. 53 (Forsyth location). Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "I had the best time at this cafe! The staff was amazing! I had my dog and they loved him. He was the star of the show. They went above and beyond to make him happy, including giving him treats. They were very sweet and made my day. The food was so good! I wish I could go back. The outside section was lovely. There were two seating areas outside. Each had its appeal."

Coffee Fox ranked No. 60. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "Loved it! The Mexican mocha was great. They were able to do a decaf iced one which was great for the hot day. Most important it was not too sweet and had a lot of flavor. Hubby got the nitro brew and said it was also good. Overall we loved the service. Both baristas were very knowledgeable about all the different drinks." Also, they let my 3 year old watch and make the coffee and were making him feel right at home. Not to mention they had a breastfeeding friendly sticker on their door."

Rhett ranked No. 62. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "So good, love the chicken and waffles! Also love the she crab soup and pork belly. Oriol was awesome! He was super accommodating with some special requests we made too."

Savannah Seafood Shack ranked No. 63. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "We shared the boil and an order of hush puppies. It was perfect size for sharing. Potatoes, deveined shrimp (an up charge but worth it), sausage and the best corn on the cob! The ladies working here were friendly and helpful. Carly and Princess were great!"

HIDDEN GEM: Savannah man's private military memorabilia collection spans eight U.S. conflicts

The Fitzroy ranked No. 64. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "Lovely inn located in historical district of Savannah, across street from the lovely Forsyth Park. Wonderful staff at inn! This is an older, historical inn, so not sure how well A/C wall units will cool down room in 'summer months' but was fine in the end of April. The breakfasts served daily on indoor/outdoor porch were lovely and just a great way to start your day in Savannah."

The Ordinary Pub ranked No. 65. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "Everything was great. Food, drinks and service. I love the basement atmosphere. Great location in downtown Savannah."

Olde Pink House ranked No. 67. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "I don't think I've ever been to a more historic and stunning restaurant. Whoever created this place is a genius. It feels like I am eating in a museum. The outside is gorgeous and pink, while the inside has so much well kept character to it. The food is amazing! I am not a biscuit eater but those biscuits were dreamy, the best ever. I wish I could eat 10 of those."

Treylor Park ranked No. 68. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "Food was so yummy. Great service even though they were super busy. Space is kinda small and crammed which makes it loud in there, but overall great atmosphere. The PB&J chicken wings are yummy. Don't be thrown off by the peanut butter, they have more of an Asian peanut flavor than actual peanut butter. Pot pie was great, but could use a little more chunks of chicken though. Would definitely recommend this place!"

New outdoor trail: A 211-mile trail from Athens to Savannah will soon break ground. Here are the first steps

Goose Feathers Cafe and Bakery ranked No. 73. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "Hands down the best breakfast I had while in Savannah! It looks like a small little cafe but the food is rave worthy. I had the JP deluxe and it was so delicious! The cornbread waffle was amazing and everything on top just made it even better."

Maple Street Biscuit Company ranked No. 74. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "One of the best breakfasts I've ever had! Everything was phenomenal. Excellent coffee - you get a bottomless cup and can choose from numerous blends. I had the breakfast tacos. They were terrific. The kids had waffles. Also excellent. Best thing were the hash brown cakes with an amazing cheese/sour cream filling. They were so good. The biscuits are also good. Homemade and delicious. Inside, you order then find somewhere to sit. There is plenty of upstairs seating. Excellent experience overall. Nice staff. Definitely would go back!"

Alligator Soul ranked No. 75. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "What a delight to have dinner at alligator soul. The ambience was amazing, the service impeccable (thank you Sarah), and the food amazing as well. We enjoyed the special of the day, the seared halibut, and the dessert was delectable. Could not have been a better birthday celebration in Savannah. We will return!"

Common Restaurant ranked No. 76. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "After living here for two years, Common has made it on my Mount Rushmore of Savannah's top dining institutions....The vibe is great for date night, bachelorette brunch, or drinks at their trendy bar. Staff is always unique and kind. Just go, you won't regret it!"

Driftaway Cafe ranked No. 80. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: " Lexi was a wonderful server, offering good advice on the menu and ensuring we were taken care of with water refills and beverages. She also gave some great recommendations around Savannah for us to check out after our meal. The portions were great and quite filling while everything was fresh. I can't rave enough about the Tuna Tartare, Firecracker Shrimp, and Crab stew. We loved every second as the flavors popped and took our taste buds for a ride. It's not an easy feat, but the shrimp was some of the best we've ever had! Don't hesitate to visit Driftaway while in the Savannah area!"

Public Kitchen and Bar ranked No. 84. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "Located in Savannah's historic district, our party of four stopped to eat after a long stroll. Even though the restaurant was full, we were seated within less than 10 minutes outside as requested. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the food was good and the ambiance was pleasant."

Repeal 33 ranked No. 86. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "Solid dinner spot on our Savannah trip. Dark prohibition type ambience with a side of a barn aesthetic. Service was solid and on top of it. Food was all really good. Appetizers were all great."

We sat at the counter which was nice and roomy and we got to watch the staff work hard to get food and drinks to everyone waiting. The food is good, nothing fancy which is great. The sweet tea was so refreshing. I would recommend trying if you are in town."
