He shouldn't have tried that in the concert venue. Country music fans must be getting a wild hair going into this weekend's tour runs. Last night, a fan
stormed the stage during Zach Bryan's New Orleans show, and a Jason Aldean fan did something similar. However, I think I'd rather trade places with the Zach Bryan fan based on the footage from the incident. Last night in Savannah, Georgia, a
Jason Aldean fan attempted to jump the barrier of the pit. While his motives are not confirmed, one can only assume he was trying to jump on stage for some hang time with one of his favorite country music artists. The fan appears to have made it over the barrier, but security quickly spotted him and jumped into action. While there usually is space between the stage and the barrier, police officers pulled the fan out of the gap, onto the stage, and promptly hauled him off. Okay...hauled off is a nice way of putting it. This man was tackled by the police officers, forcefully putting him onto the stage, and then got a move on to get him out of sight. Aldean stood there looking stunned, yet laughing, and just threw his hands up at the whole event, and his bass player scooted to the side quickly as the officers carried the fan off stage. In one clip posted on social media, you can hear Aldean say:
"Well, that's got to be the dumbest thing he's ever done in his life." I'd have to agree with that point, Mr. Aldean. Getting kicked out of a show that you paid a lot of money to be at sucks enough as is, but to have then to talk to the police and probably get a little charge or a stern talking to is even less ideal. I wonder if Aldean fired up "Try That In A Small Town" after the incident...
Check it out from another angle.
