Georgia's largest school district won't teach Black studies course without state approval
ATLANTA — (AP) — Georgia's largest school district announced Tuesday that it won't teach a new Advanced Placement course in African American Studies, saying the state Department of Education's refusal to approve the course means its students would be cheated out of credit for the difficulty of the work.

Diamond Shruumz recall: Up to 20 Georgians sick from microdosing candies
More Georgians have gotten sick from mushroom gummies and chocolates that are under a nationwide recall. Channel 2 Action News reported earlier this month that there were six cases connected to the Diamond Shruumz. On Tuesday, the Georgia Department of Public Health confirmed that it’s now up to 20 illnesses.
