The Savannah Hilton Head International Airport will remain open, but acknowledges that chances are high that flights will be cancelled due to Tropical Storm Debby.

A statement at the top of the airport's website states: "SAV will remain operational however airlines may delay or cancel flights depending on weather conditions. Travelers are advised to keep in contact with their airline for the most up to date flight information."

As of 2 p.m. Monday, not many flights were affected by the slow-churning storm that made landfall in Florida early Monday morning. Just four flights, all United Airlines, were cancelled with another delayed to Newark, NJ, rescheduled from 2:46 p.m. to 4:06 p.m. A Delta flight to Detroit was rescheduled from 12:59 p.m. to 3 p.m. while an American Airlines flight to Dallas Fort-Worth was rescheduled from 2:25 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

To check arrivals, departures and to track the status of your flight, visit https://savannahairport.com/flights/arrivals-and-departures/ or track your plane via your airline's website and app. A flight tracker and air traffic map are also available at the website.
