    This Savannah landmark ranks on the 10 best haunted hotels in the United States

    The Marshall House in Savannah ranks as the fourth best haunted hotel in the United States , according to a recent study by Miss Tourist .

    The hotel, previously a hospital during the Civil War and two yellow fever epidemics, earned a 4.5-star rating based on almost six thousand reviews.

    How were these rankings determined?

    Sixty haunted hotels were analyzed based on average ratings and number of reviews on TripAdvisor, by travel experts at Miss Tourist .

    “Our study of these 'haunted' hotels sheds light on a fascinating aspect of American hospitality and tourism," said Yulia Saf, travel expert and CEO of Miss Tourist. "Many of these establishments, like the The Marshall House in Savannah, are primarily luxury or historic hotels with rich pasts."
