Bike to School is May 8 in Hayward

Hayward area school students are invited to join a nationwide movement on Wednesday, May 8, for National Bike to School Day.

Participants are encouraged to meet in the Hayward Wesleyan Church parking lot at the intersection of Nyman Avenue and Highway 77 at 7:30 a.m. Cyclists will leave at 7:45 a.m. for Primary, Intermediate, Middle, and High Schools.

Staff from the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation will be riding with students to the schools.
