    National forest office in Hayward expands hours

    Starting Monday July 1, USDA Forest Service information, passes, and permits will be available to the public at the Great Divide Ranger District office in Hayward Monday through Friday, except for days of national observance.

    Hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the office, which is located at 10650 Nyman Avenue, between the Sawyer County Jail and Sawyer County ambulance buildings. Phone: 715-634-4821.

    “We are pleased to be able to extend office hours during this busy time of the year, as many people experience the great outdoors in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest,” said Great Divide District Ranger Mike Martin. “We look forward to providing services and information during these times to help you make the most of your experience. Specialists in the office can assist you with information about camping, hiking, and more.”

    Forest Product Permits

    Interagency passes

    Annual CNNF stickers for use at day-use fee areas
