LCO harriers run at Iron River, Rice Lake

The Lac Courte Oreilles Migizwag cross-country team competed in the Gunderson Invitational at Pron River Thursday Sept. 19.

In the boys varsity 5-kilometer race, sophomore Darian Goodsky placed 24th in 25:16, senior Eddie Benton placed 26th in 26:23, junior Gary Clause was 31st in 33:08, and freshman Ninde Goodsky finished 33rd in 33:33.

In the middle school boys 3-kilometer race, sixth grader Emeris Brownrigg finished 44th in 23:00.

On Tuesday Sept. 17, the Migiziwag ran in the Rice Lake Invitational at the UWEC-Barron County campus. The results were:

Boys varsity 5K: Darian Goodsky 179th, 24:30; Gary Clause 202nd, 32:02; Ninde Goodsky 203rd 33:48; Charles Trepanier 206th, 40:02.

Middle school girls 3K: Charlena Taylor 236th, 24:15.

Middle school boys 3K: Emeris Brownrigg 222nd, 22:55.
