Moose Lake News
Musky Festival 2024 was slightly wet at times but an enjoyable weekend for area residents, especially the Moose Lakers that worked it and participated in the events. Saturday morning starting at 7:30 was the annual June Dairy Month breakfast at the Sawyer County Fair Grounds. I talked with organizers at the conclusion of the breakfast at 11:00 AM. They served just over one thousand area residents and visitors. As usual it was a great breakfast, serving regular or blueberry pancakes along with scrambled eggs, excellent tasty sausages, strawberries ice cream, cheese, milk, and coffee. The breakfast line was quite long but it moved fairly fast, so you did not have to wait too long for your food. The benefit was for the Sawyer County Farm Bureau and the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin. This event will also help support the promotion of area dairy products in our area schools.

Many kind-hearted individuals have already contributed, and we are profoundly grateful for your generosity and dedication to supporting those in need of food assistance. If you haven’t had the chance to contribute yet or wish to increase your support, we encourage you to make a donation during these two months.
