Flash flood warning issued for part of Pennsylvania until Wednesday night
On Wednesday at 7:18 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning in effect until 11:30 p.m. for Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe and Northampton counties. "At 7:18 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly," says the weather service. "Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low-lying areas."

The healthcare provider also aimed to create a sense of psychological safety within the organization, so that all team members, including frontline care providers, could feel empowered to share their perspectives and quickly address any safety issues that may arise. This approach led to a significant decrease in serious safety events during care, as well as a significant increase in team members who felt empowered to stop the line and report patient safety events.

26 dogs rescued from deplorable conditions at Ohio home
HUBBARD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (KDKA) -- More than two dozen dogs were rescued from deplorable conditions at a home in Ohio, an animal shelter said.The Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County said the 26 dogs and their elderly owner were found living in "deplorable conditions."
