Downtown St. Cloud restaurant B Social closes

Downtown St. Cloud restaurant B Social, located at 119 Fifth Ave. S, has abruptly closed, according to a sign posted on its front door Tuesday.

It is now the third downtown business to close this month, following the coffee shop Oblivion Coffee Bar & Mercantile and bar Whit’s Craft .

B Social, from the restaurant company Brick & Bourbon, first opened in St. Cloud in 2019 and briefly closed in 2023 for a remodel that added arcade machines and a new feel to the building.

Brick & Bourbon also operates locations in Stillwater, Eden Prairie and Maple Grove.

"We want to thank you for your patronage and continued support with us over the past 5 years," B Social's sign said. "It is with a heavy heart that we have closed this location."

The sign also said customers can still redeem gift and gaming cards at Brick & Bourbon's other locations.

Owner Branden Warner did not respond to a request for comment.
