Thomas Ray Kucera

May 18, 1952 – April 26, 2024 - Thomas Ray Kucera was born in St. Helens, OR on May 18, 1952 to parents Louie and Ann Kucera (Drapel). Tom passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 26, 2024 at the age of 71.

Tom graduated from Scappoose High School in 1970 and served in the Air Force from 1972 to 1976 serving 2 years in the States in the 5th Fighter Interceptor Squadron and 2 years as Sergeant in Korea with an honorable discharge in 1976.

Tom married Linda Putyrski in 1977. They were married for 47 great years. He retired from the USPS after 42 years.

Tom is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter Tracy; son Dustin; and 4 grandchildren, Jacob, Parker, Chloe and Aria. He is also survived by his brothers, Roger and Ron; and sister Debi; and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his brother Jerry.

Tom loved going to the beach clamming with his family, hunting with friends and family and working on cars with his son.

Tom was a fun-loving guy and a great husband, father and grandfather. He will be truly missed and never forgotten. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives!

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 10th, 2024 at 4pm at their residence in Scappoose. 51875 SW 4th Street, Scappoose, OR.
