Bridge Avenue detour starts Monday in Albert Lea
ALBERT LEA, Minn. – Crews will be preparing a section of Bridge Avenue in Albert Lea for the installation of a public dock. Bridge Avenue from Katherine Street Fountain Street from Monday through September 11. The City of Albert Lea says drivers and pedestrians will need to detour onto East Main Street.

Iowa school districts receive grants for therapeutic classrooms
The Iowa Department of Education is issuing its fourth round of competitive grants to ten school districts in the state to establish or continue therapeutic classrooms. Clinton and North Scott Community School Districts are receiving a portion of the $2.85 million for the 2024-2025 school year. Clinton is collecting $146,000, and North Scott is accepting $174,500.
