Motorcycle ride to honor late Kane County Deputy Chris Ruchaj
A motorcycle ride on Sunday will honor the memory of Kane County Deputy Chris Ruchaj, who recently died unexpectedly at the age of 50. The event starts at Fox River Harley-Davidson in St. Charles, with registration at 8:30 a.m. The ride will depart at 11 a.m. and conclude at Lee'z Place in Sandwich, where there will be live music and raffles to benefit Ruchaj's three children.

Bears Swap Chase Claypool Pick for Browns DT & 7th-Rounder
The Chicago Bears are finally getting some pay-off for their failed experiment with former wide receiver Chase Claypool ahead of the 2024 season. According to The Athletic’s Adam Jahns, the Bears are trading away the 2025 sixth-round pick they received from the Miami Dolphins for Claypool to acquire defensive tackle Chris Williams and a 2025 seventh-rounder from the Cleveland Browns.
