    Arrest made after stabbing in Schenectady

    SCHENECTADY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — A part of McClellan Street in Schenectady was closed Wednesday night as the Schenectady Police Department investigated a stabbing. Police tell NEWS10 that an arrest was made in connection with the stabbing.

    The stabbing took place just after 8 p.m. Wednesday on the 300 block of Furman Street. Police said two men sustained stab wounds. They were taken to Albany Medical Center in stable condition.

    Police said, Sebastian Ayala-Calderson, 24, of Schenectady was arrested in the incident. Anyone with more information can call police at (518) 788-6566 .
