Multiple Thunderstorms Blanketed the Raccoon Valley Radio Area Tuesday Morning
Multiple rounds of thunderstorms pelted the Raccoon Valley Radio area overnight and Tuesday morning. The first set of severe thunderstorm warnings were issued by the National Weather Service just after 1am until 3am for most of Greene, Guthrie and Dallas Counties. Guthrie County Sheriff Marty Arganbright reported strong winds and small tree branches were down, along with outdoor furniture was blown around in Guthrie Center, but no property damage or injuries were reported. Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams said there was 60 miles per hour winds and heavy rainfall across the county during the four severe thunderstorm warnings.

Malvern man booked on warrant for harassment, probation violation
(Glenwood) -- A Malvern man was arrested on a warrant for multiple charges over the weekend. The Mills County Sheriff's Office says 35-year-old Arron Wade Opdyke was arrested at around midnight Saturday on warrant for five counts of 1st degree harassment, 3rd degree harassment, and probation violation. Authorities say the arrest occurred at the Douglas County Jail.
