Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) announced Wednesday, July 17, the start of construction on Sunrise Wind, an offshore wind farm about 30 miles off the coast of Montauk. The project is spearheaded by Ørsted, a global leader in renewable energy. Man arrested after threatening to kill CNY cops, 911 dispatchers in 22 calls
Salina, N.Y. – A man who threatened to shoot up police headquarters and a 911 call center was arrested Thursday. Corey Kinsella, 31, was charged with making a terroristic threat after making 22 calls to the Onondaga County 911 Center, according to a news release Friday from the Onondaga County District Attorney’s office. Making a terroristic threat is a felony, which carries a maximum sentence of seven years in prison.
