‘We had to save it’: New owners will be taking over Booksweet in Ann Arbor
ANN ARBOR, MI - An independent Ann Arbor bookstore will soon have some new faces behind its operations. Co-founders Shaun Manning and Truly Render opened Booksweet, 1729 Plymouth Road, in August 2021. The pair announced in May they were searching for new owners to purchase the shop, which has become known for offering books and other events near the University of Michigan’s North Campus.

Another year, another player with University of Michigan ties getting selected in the first round of the NHL draft. Wolverines commit Michael Hage was picked No. 21 overall by the Montreal Canadiens during Friday’s first round at Sphere in Las Vegas.
