The main criteria for our end-of-season awards are players' overall impacts on winning, with an emphasis on individual statistics and team success relative to strength of schedule. Any other intangible or non-statistical contributions that substantially influenced team success were considered. Awards and achievements such as all-conference, all-league and all-district honors were taken into account as minor criteria, and players' postseason contributions were considered substantially. <nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate> PLAYER OF THE YEAR: G Trinity Turner - Dr. Phillips - Sr. When you think of consistency and the road well traveled, Turner's resume matches up with just about anyone's Playing on a Panthers' club that lost four games, three of which came against out of state opponents, Turner showed her skill set versus every level. The University of Georgia signee led Dr. Phillips to the Class 7A state championship in a tight 53-46 victory over Colonial, scoring a team-high 16 points. For the season overall, Turner finished averaging 18.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 3.3 steals per game.
