LECLAIRE, Iowa (KWQC) - Scott County deputies identified the 38-year-old East Moline man who was found dead in a fatal crash on Forest Grove Road in LeClaire on Monday. Vincent Holst, 38, of East Moline was identified Tuesday as the deceased driver of the Honda Pilot, according to a media release from the sheriff’s office.

Woman dies from injuries sustained in crash Monday afternoon northwest of Davenport
A 77-year-old woman has died from injuries sustained in a single vehicle crash Monday afternoon. On Monday, July 8 at about 2:39 p.m., the Scott Emergency Communications Center received a report of a motor vehicle crash near the 12500 block of New Liberty Road, according to a news release from the Scott County Sheriff's Office. The two-lane highway runs between the city limits of northwest Davenport and Maysville.
Registered sex offender accused of inappropriately touching girl
A Scott County registered sex offender was arrested Tuesday for allegedly inappropriately touching a girl in early June, authorities said. David Patrick Ruble, 43, of Eldridge, is charged with one count of indecent contact with a child. The charge is an aggravated misdemeanor that carries a prison sentence of two years.
