    Scottsdale chamber honors local individuals and companies

    The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce will hold it’s 29th Annual Scottsdale History Hall of Fame event Tuesday, May 7.

    The event honors individuals, local companies, and non-profit organizations that have significantly contributed to the community’s development, according to a press release. Presented by event sponsor, the Scottsdale Charros, this event will be a celebration of Scottsdale’s rich heritage.

    “The interest in this year’s event is unprecedented,” Doreen Reinke, Chair of the Past President’s Council of the Chamber, said in the release. “We encourage those interested in sponsoring or attending to secure their tickets and sponsorships promptly to ensure their participation.”

    The Scottsdale History Hall of Fame has honored 147 Scottsdale leaders and 31 organizations over the past 29 years, acknowledging their profound impact on the city’s heritage. From community leaders to non-profit organizations, these honorees have helped shape Scottsdale.

    The event will feature distinguished inductees, including Jim Ford, Jim Lane, Linda Milhaven, Raoul Zubia, Community Celebrating Diversity Foundation, and Nationwide (formerly Scottsdale Insurance Company). Each of these individuals and organizations has left an indelible mark on the fabric of Scottsdale’s community.

    The event is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Scottsdale Resort & Spa, 7700 E McCormick Ranch Parkway, Scottsdale, AZ 85258. Individual tickets are $155 while corporate table sponsor of 10 is $2,500.
